Challenge
Every construction project requires a dossier to be submitted to the Federal Office of Transport. Requirements from earlier proceedings often repeat because knowledge of previous rulings, replies, and statements is scattered across hundreds of PDF documents and is not evaluated systematically.
Solution
Askantis built a multi-tenant web application that automatically ingests the full correspondence (application, ruling, reply, rejoinder), extracts every individual requirement, and links it to the source document. Requirements are structured, filtered, and searchable per project. The AI pipeline runs on Azure (OCR, Azure OpenAI) with full traceability back to the original page.
Impact
Requirements and their history are centrally searchable for the first time. The system has been in productive use since 2025 and is continuously extended.
